Ryan Fukunaga

Hi, I’m Ryan.

A few things about me:

Collaboration is the key to solving most problems; trying to do anything completely by yourself is a good way to burn out.

I’ve learned that the aphorism perfection is the enemy of good is an excellent summation of what it’s taken me decades to learn.

I’ll admit I’m guilty of worrying about the future instead of focusing on what’s in front of me. It’s a work in progress.

Enjoying art has been important to me since I was a child.

My natural curiosity leads me to examine how things work: from how narratives are constructed, to how machines come apart, to how strangers can form a community. That curiosity also led to spending a probably unreasonable amount of time at university studying deconstructivism, which, it turns out, is more useful than you might expect.
