I’ve done a couple of local talks via video conferencing software and participated in session with CBC Marketplace. While this is a personal passion for me, most of this work is related to my current position. It might be obvious, but I’m always talk about tech adoption, training/education, and (recently) equity related to tech. I don’t know if these clips capture that aspect of what I do but, right now, they’re all I’ve got. I’m really glad these groups/organizations took the time to reach out to me.

Take It to the Streets
This is what I spent my summer doing. From there website:
University of Toronto Scarborough, in partnership with community partners, hosted two-day digital story workshops for resident-led initiatives identified by community partners. Participants scripted, narrated, designed, and directed short stories that serve as a window into their lives and experiences and tell stories of Scarborough from within the community.
Individuals were trained on how to create a multimedia video capturing their story of community-building. Through these workshops, the University of Toronto Scarborough and our community partners are working together to build capacity and invest in professional and leadership development opportunities for residents across Scarborough.
Workshops were facilitated by Digital Storytelling Toronto, an initiative of Centre for Community Learning & Development. Thank you to Free Geek Toronto for providing laptops for these workshops.

Why a website now?
I’ve had an email account since the mid-90s, a blog since 2000, and so many social media accounts that I can barely keep track of them all.
But I’ve never had a website.
Now I do.
I’ve developed a lot of material and content for my job as an digital technology instructor. Rather than hoard all of this I wanted to have the chance to share it with others. So I’m going to start doing that. This site will have a variety of handouts, lesson plans, and presentations gear towards adult learners.
